Stade Rennais faces Olympiakos on Wednesday

Stade Rennais, 13th in the Europa League group stage standings with five points after three matchdays, hosts Olympiakos at Roazhon Park this Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. The Rennais are looking for their second victory in this competition to move closer to the top eight qualifying spots.

Today's opponent is undefeated with nine points and occupies fifth place after three wins. Olympiakos notably defeated Olympique de Marseille (1-0) and Sparta Prague (1-0).

Stade Rennais, which has not lost since the start of this European campaign with a victory against OFI Crete (2-1), hopes to confirm its current form in front of its home crowd. Franck Haise will be able to count on Boulaye Dia in attack.

Olympiakos, which beat Sparta Prague and OFI Crete during the previous two matchdays, arrives with the ambition of consolidating its position in the Top 8 with a fourth consecutive victory. Chiquinho could be the main offensive threat for the Rennais.

Both teams have already faced OFI Crete and Sparta Prague this season in the Europa League, but this match will be their first direct head-to-head in this competition.
