According to N Digital, Shakira and Piqué discussed the fact that it would be more practical for the father to travel to Miami during short vacations rather than moving their sons between Barcelona and Miami. This proposal aims to minimize the impact of travel on the children’s school, social, and family routines.
Through her press agency, the singer clarified that she is not trying to reduce the time the boys spend with their father. On the contrary, she simply wants to ease the burden on her sons by avoiding frequent transatlantic trips.
