A short reading, a reflection and a song to start the day in faith. Ninety minutes made to be listened to while the household gets ready.
In many homes, mornings happen on your feet: dressing the children, making breakfast, looking for the keys. Reveye Nan Lafwa is made for that moment. It is a programme to listen to more than to watch, from the kitchen or the bathroom, while the household gets going.
Its format comes down to three elements: a short reading, a reflection, then a song. The reading is brief, so it can be followed without stopping what you are doing. The reflection draws a simple thought from it, something to keep in mind for the day. The song then closes the sequence before another begins. This rhythm repeats over an hour and a half, so you can join partway through, hear one or two sequences, then leave without having missed the heart of it.
Placed after the early-morning spiritual songs and just before the sermon, Reveye Nan Lafwa makes the transition from music to the spoken word. It does not ask for the full attention a complete sermon requires; it keeps you company. It is for families in Haiti and across the diaspora who want to start the day in faith, even when there is no time to sit down and read alone. Children hear it at the same time as their parents, which makes it a shared moment too, even when everyone is busy with something else.
Every day. Live on nago.tv, on the NAGO Gospel channel.
