Made for younger believers: music, questions asked honestly, and answers that do not talk down. Guests are close to the age of the audience.
Young believers have their own questions, and they deserve to have them answered seriously. Jèn Nan Lafwa is the NAGO Gospel programme made for them: music, questions asked honestly, and answers that do not talk down.
The tone is that of a conversation between peers rather than a lesson. Guests are close to the age of the audience, which changes the nature of the exchange: faith is discussed as it is lived at school, at university, in a first job, with friends and online, without pretending that doubts do not exist. Hard questions are not avoided, and the answers take the time to explain rather than impose. Music punctuates the hour and gives the programme an energy different from the rest of the day's schedule.
Placed in the late afternoon, when many are getting back from classes, Jèn Nan Lafwa follows straight on from Mesaj Espwa. It is for teenagers and young adults, in Haiti and across the diaspora, where many grow up between two languages and two cultures and look for ways to keep their faith in that setting. Parents and youth leaders will also find in it a way to understand what concerns this generation, and perhaps a way to start the conversation at home or at church.
Every day. Live on nago.tv, on the NAGO Gospel channel.
