Worship, quiet and slow, to close the day on. Ninety minutes of adoration with the tempo dropping steadily towards midnight.
The day has been long; it is time to slow down. Adorasyon closes NAGO Gospel's evening with an hour and a half of quiet, slow worship, with nothing hurried and nothing restless.
What defines the programme is its curve. The tempo drops steadily as the evening goes on and midnight approaches: the first songs still carry some momentum, then the music grows slower and more inward, until it gives way to a near-silent stillness. This is not festive praise but adoration in the true sense, the moment of standing before God without asking for anything. You can sing softly, pray or simply listen, each according to what the day has left them.
Adorasyon bridges the energy of the early-evening concert and the night praise that follows it. It is the programme to switch on to get ready for bed, after the dishes, once the children are asleep, or to end a difficult day on a note of peace. It is for families who like to pray together before sleeping, people living alone who want a presence in the evening, and Haitians in the diaspora who want to end the day with the songs of adoration that are familiar to them, the kind sung under the breath rather than at full voice.
Every day. Live on nago.tv, on the NAGO Gospel channel.
