A message of hope and the reasons behind it, built around one passage and one idea, kept short enough to carry into the rest of the day.
Hope is not enough on its own; you also need to know what it rests on. Mesaj Espwa offers a message of hope that takes the time to give its reasons, rather than settling for reassuring phrases.
Each message is built around a single passage of scripture and a single idea. That focus is deliberate: instead of ranging across several texts and several themes, the message sticks to one clear thought, explained and justified, that can be remembered without effort. It stays short enough to carry into the rest of the day, to think over on the commute, at work or at home in the evening. You do not come away with a list of points, but with one thing to keep.
The programme differs from the morning sermon, which runs a whole sermon, and from Bible study, which moves through the text chapter by chapter. Here, the word is tighter and turned towards what people are living through. Placed in the late afternoon, when tiredness sets in and the day's worries weigh heavier, it is for those going through a hard time, those caring for a relative who is ill or grieving, and everyone, in Haiti and across the diaspora, who needs a word of encouragement with something solid behind it.
Every day. Live on nago.tv, on the NAGO Gospel channel.
