Worship through the night, kept at the volume the hour calls for. Long-form praise and quiet instrumental passages, with no presenter and nothing to jolt a sleeping house.
When the house goes to sleep, NAGO Gospel lowers its voice. Lwanj Nan Nuit carries the night with continuous praise, long and unbroken, kept at the volume the hour calls for. There is no presenter, no announcement between pieces, nothing likely to wake someone in the next room.
The programme alternates long stretches of praise with quiet instrumental passages. The pieces have time to unfold, and the wordless stretches leave room to pray in silence, read a few pages or simply rest with music that does not demand attention. You can leave the television or the radio on all night without having to touch the volume. The transitions are gentle, with no sudden change of tempo or volume.
Lwanj Nan Nuit takes over from the late-evening worship and carries on well past midnight, up to the morning prayer. It is the longest presence on the schedule, made for those who keep watch: night-shift workers, parents up with a child, the sick who sleep badly, or members of the diaspora who live in another time zone and meet Haiti at a different point in their day. It is also company for those who like to fall asleep with praise in the background, without worrying that a voice or a jingle will pull them out of sleep.
Every day. Live on nago.tv, on the NAGO Gospel channel.
