Unions opposed to the withholding of 15% from civil servants' salaries

The CSAPN represents about fifteen unions of public sector employees. During a press conference, the representatives denounced the negative consequences of this deduction on family budgets and the financial balance of civil servants.

Duvert Jean François, from the MPCE, estimated that this reduction could weaken the financial situation of families who primarily depend on state salaries. He calls on authorities to reconsider their position before October 1st to prevent an exacerbation of their difficulties.

The CSAPN is calling on Prime Minister Fils-Aimé to cancel this provision and is inviting civil servants to mobilize against its implementation, even threatening a general action if the measure is maintained.
