Playerz wants to revitalize Haitian kompa

The founding members are Mentzley Cantave, Léo The (Léopold Mettelus), and Pierre Gady St. Louis, alias GadyGaga. Their repertoire blends different generations of compas with other styles such as rap, roots music, afro, and amapiano.

Playerz is currently working on its first album which includes eight finalized songs: "Denye Zèl Kat La," "Manyen Kè M," "Dechire," "Bouje," "Manman," "Lague Kè M," "Kove," and "Ase." The group is managed by the production company MAGE Entertainment, headed by Reginald Georges.

Their ambition is to gradually establish their musical identity on stage while preparing for the release of this album. They aim to reach a wide audience, including the Haitian diaspora, through festivals, concerts, and cultural events.
