Music: Jovans Lorquet releases "Antrave," a konpa video that has passed 93,000 views

Haitian singer Jovans Lorquet released "Antrave," a new single with an official music video, on October 25, 2026. The song is available on streaming platforms, including Apple Music, and the video, posted on his YouTube channel, had passed 93,000 views by November 4. The artist had announced the release a few days earlier on social media.

Jovans Lorquet sings konpa, zouk and R&B. He grew up in Haiti and left after the 2010 earthquake to continue his studies in the United States, he told Voyage Miami magazine. His parents made sure their three children took music lessons from a young age, and he learned to sing in his church choir.

Four albums and a live record

His Apple Music catalog includes two zouk-konpa compilations (2015 and 2018), the albums "Vini Avè M" (2021) and "Oui" (2023), and a live album, "Live at Le Carlton," released this year with BAZ. His singles also include "Farinen," "Habibti," "M Sonje Tout Ti Bagay" and "Sa Dous."
