CARICOM Group Worried About Haitian Electoral Preparations

The group called on international partners to honor their security commitments to support Haiti during this critical period.

"Haiti is at a critical turning point," GEP representatives stated, highlighting the need for fair and inclusive elections. Rapid deployment of additional resources by partner countries would be essential to ensure that the electoral process can take place in a secure environment.
