Students protest delay in HUEH relocation

The president of the FMP/UEH student council, Esdras Paul, has lamented the lack of progress in the temporary reopening of the University of Haiti Hospital (HUEH). The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Bertrand Sinal, had announced a planned transfer for September 2026 which has not been carried out. The hospital has been closed for nearly 31 months and the project envisions a temporary installation in the facilities of the Haitian Community Hospital (HCH).
