CSPJ excludes 17 judges from the system
The Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) announced on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the list of certified and non-certified judges. The CSPJ excluded 17 judges, including several Substitute prosecutors and Deputy peace judges.

Significant Eliminations
Among those excluded is the Dean of the Court of First Instance in Fort Liberté, Brenord Louicius. In Petit-Goâve, two Substitute prosecutors and one Deputy were dismissed. Four Substitute judges at the Court of First Instance in Port-au-Prince were also sanctioned.
Certifications
The CSPJ certified three other Substitute judges at the Court of First Instance in Port-au-Prince, as well as Prosecutor Jean Hérold Anacius in Petit-Goâve and other substitutes in the jurisdictions of Jacmel, Croix des Bouquets, and Petit-Goâve.
Files Under Review
Among the certified judges are five whose files require a thorough investigation: Mireille CHERESTYL SYLVAIN, Lionel Ralph DIMANCHE, Yvon JEAN NOEL, Maximin PIERRE, and Jean David Moïse SIMON.
