About the programme
Why did that goal come from that side of the pitch? What was the coach's chosen shape meant to produce? Analiz, NAGO Sport's tactical programme, takes the time to answer those questions. Moves are slowed down, frozen and drawn on screen, to show what the eye cannot catch live.
The idea is to go back over movement and positioning rather than the result alone. Arrows and lines reveal the spaces left open, the runs that created a chance, the back line that shifted a second too late. It becomes clear that a goal rarely comes from a single touch, but from a sequence of decisions made by several players, sometimes far from the ball. A team's shape, what it was trying to do and how the opposition stopped it all become visible.
The programme is for enthusiasts who want to go further than highlights, and also for players, youth coaches and amateur managers, of whom there are many in Haiti and across the diaspora, who want to understand the game in order to teach it or play it better. Shown in the morning, with a clear head, it runs for an hour, enough to unpick several situations without rushing. On NAGO Sport, Analiz is distinct from Rezime Match, which follows it and goes over the previous day's matches and their turning points at length: here the emphasis is on tactics, shape and intention, that is, on what a team set out to do, and not only on what happened.
