Twelve clubs open the second Paryaj Lakay D1 season on Sunday, November 8

The Haitian Football League (LHF) will start the 2026-2027 D1 championship, the second edition of the Paryaj Lakay competition, on Sunday, November 8, 2026. Twelve clubs are taking part. The account below follows HaitiLibre, which cites the official schedule issued by the LHF.

The five opening fixtures

Matchday 1 is played at three venues:

- **Parc St-Victor, Cap-Haïtien:** FICA face Ouanaminthe FC at 2:00 PM. AS Capoise (ASC) then meet Tempête FC at 4:00 PM.

- **Parc Sainte-Thérèse, Pétion-ville:** Racing Club Haïtien take on Cavaly AS at 2:00 PM. Don Bosco FC play Violette AC at 4:00 PM.

- **Land des Gabions, Les Cayes:** América des Cayes meet Juventus des Cayes at 4:00 PM. HaitiLibre calls this the "Derby des Cayes" and says it opens the season.

Those are the only fixtures HaitiLibre details. It does not say how the twelve clubs are divided between Group A and Group B, or who plays on later matchdays.

Times that could shift

The LHF Competitions Department may make small last-minute changes to kick-off times. HaitiLibre gives two reasons: security requirements and the scheduling of double-header matches on the same day.

The rest of the season

The Opening Series begins on November 8, 2026 and continues into early 2027. After a short winter break, HaitiLibre says the Closing Series usually starts in February or March and finishes by May or June 2027. That second phase decides the season's second champion.
