Haitian student's death highlights immigration struggles

The family of Pierre Damas Bel, a 20-year-old Haitian student, laid him to rest over the weekend following his suicide last month. In July, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to end temporary protections for hundreds of thousands of Haitians, leading Bel to lose his legal status and be required by immigration authorities to wear an ankle monitor.
