UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon nears end after 48 years

The United Nations peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon is set to conclude its mandate after 48 years, according to PBS NewsHour — World. The Israeli military currently occupies about 6% of Lebanese territory, the report states. Special Correspondent Simona Foltyn and videographer Adrian Hartrick recently visited the area south of Israel's "yellow line," gaining rare access to peacekeepers.
