About the programme

In the small hours, NAGO News puts back on air what the channel showed the day before. Rediyfizyon replays the previous day's debates, interviews and reports, in the exact order they first aired, across a long two-hour block. It is not a selection of highlights: the programmes run again just as they were broadcast.

This repeat is different from the one given to the main bulletin, which is devoted to the evening news alone. Here it is the longer-form programmes that come back: a discussion you only caught half of, an interview someone mentioned to you, a report that got people talking. Because it follows the original order, the block also lets you retrace the news day as it unfolded, from morning to evening. The programmes are shown as they were, with no added commentary, so you can see them just as the previous day's audience did.

The audience at these hours is varied. There are those in Haiti who work nights or get up very early, and there is the diaspora, for whom the middle of the Haitian night sometimes falls at a free moment in their day. For all of them, Rediyfizyon is a way to catch up on long programmes that are often hard to watch live among the day's obligations.

What you will see

  • The previous day's debates, in full
  • Interviews broadcast the day before
  • Reports shown as they first aired
  • The original broadcast order kept
  • A second chance at the longer programmes
