Youri Latortue rejects accusations of supporting gangs
Youri Latortue, a former Haitian senator, rejected on Friday, October 9, 2026, accusations that he had provided material support to armed groups. The UN report states that Kokorat San Ras and two other gangs carried out a series of attacks in the Lower Artibonite between March 29 and April 3, 2026, causing at least 95 deaths.
