Desire Doué, who scored a goal and provided an assist in PSG's victory over FC Barcelona (4-2), refused to take advantage of his individual performance. The Parisian striker emphasized the collective effort: "It’s not for me to say, we give everything on the field and the results speak for themselves," he said in an interview with Canal+. He also added that his goal was simply the result of a well-executed free kick.
Thierry Henry, former Arsenal striker, commented on the young Parisian player's performance. He is present and brilliant, Henry stated. The former world champion highlighted the importance of his efficiency: "I have always said that efficiency is sexy. He doesn’t need to do too much."
