What the witness said
The justice of the peace said Ruddock was not subjected to force, threats or harm. The witness also said he was offered nothing to persuade him to speak. This supports what an earlier witness, a fellow justice of the peace, had already told the trial.
When the statement was given
The caution statement was given on October 18, 2021. That was the day after Gardner was killed in what is alleged to have been a sacrificial ritual. The killing took place at Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries in St James.
The dispatch does not say what else the witness told the court.
