Raphinha extends his contract with Barça

FC Barcelona announced on Wednesday that Brazilian forward Raphinha, 29, will officially sign a new contract extension at noon on Thursday in the presence of president Joan Laporta. The statement says the new deal runs until June 2030.

According to Mundo Deportivo, a final agreement has been reached for two more seasons than the current contract, which expires in June 2028. The official signing could take place as early as Thursday. The player is then expected to go to the offices at Spotify Camp Nou to make his commitment official.

Raphinha, who joined the club from Stade Rennais and became captain this season under Hansi Flick, has impressed with 19 goals in just 13 games in all competitions.
