Peterson Pierre-Louis installed as president of the CEP

The new board includes Jaccéus Joseph as vice-president, Nemrod Sanon as secretary general, and Schnaïda Adély as treasurer. Peterson Pierre-Louis emphasized the importance of responsibility and dialogue in his inaugural speech.

According to the new president, "we do not claim to be able to solve the country's difficulties alone." He aims for a more professional and transparent electoral administration. Peterson Pierre-Louis also called for all actors in the electoral process to respect procedures.

The CEP continues to prepare for upcoming elections, with 628,755 registered voters as of September 21, and a candidate registration period that runs until October 9. The new team must now translate its orientations into concrete actions before the first round scheduled for December 13, 2026.
