Supporters of the Court of cassation call for a bicameral executive

Among the participants were former senator Francisco De La Cruz, as well as deputies Serge Jean Louis and Jean Fenel Thanis. The demonstrators held up banners with various messages such as "Viv Konstitisyon 1987 la" and "Konstitisyon Kasasyon," in addition to shouting slogans against insecurity.

According to the organizers, they are urgently calling for a bicameral executive to strengthen the central role of the Court of cassation during a political transition. The mobilization began around 10 am and ended at 1 pm with vodou ceremonies honoring ancestral spirits, including Ogou Feray.

The demonstrators also expressed their concerns about public security and kidnappings. They are demanding measures to improve these conditions as well as compensation for drivers who claim to have suffered losses due to fuel supply difficulties.

The organizers announced that they will continue their mobilizations until their demands are addressed. These rallies follow those of August 12 and September 4.
