The General Director of the ONA, Lovely FRANÇOIS, opened the ceremony by emphasizing that modernizing a fairer regime cannot be achieved without active participation from concerned actors. She called for collecting proposals to improve the system and integrate the needs of insured individuals.
Marc-Elie NELSON, Minister of Public Works, Transportation, and Communications, stressed the importance of integrating informal sector workers into the social protection regime. "Informal sector workers are not invisible workers," he declared, underscoring the need for transparency in management.
Discussions focused on various aspects, including the institutional framework and missions of the Office, as well as digitization and securing of archives. A workshop dedicated to institutional diagnosis examined services provided to insured individuals and improvements in the collection of contributions.
