Netflix New Releases — week of October 8, 2026

For fans of family series with social themes, "East of Eden" arrives with a plot set in the early 20th century where an independent woman creates a divide between two brothers, giving rise to storylines that span several generations. Another unmissable series is "The Arena", hosted by leading figures Ciryl Gane and Cédric Doumbè, who put 38 amateur fighters to the test in a brutal competition to win a professional MMA contract.

Among the lighter yet equally captivating films is "Crazy Rich, Incredibly Broke", where the AlThahabi family must fake their wealth after discovering they are not as well-off as they thought. This comedy offers a sharp satire of elite arrogance and snobbery.

Fans of police investigations will appreciate "The Widower: 'Til Death Do Us Part", where a journalist and a detective investigate a murderer who seduced several women before killing them, thereby revealing sordid secrets behind each union.

Then, for those who prefer absurd humor, "Sam Morril: Incorrect" presents a hilarious special where Sam looks back at his worst experiences and recounts various historical events with cynicism.

LEGO fans will not be left out with the special series "LEGO ONE PIECE", which retells the story of the Straw Hats pirate ship in a toy version.

For French-speaking users, Netflix is also offering several notable titles such as the documentary film "#Love" and a humorous improv show titled "Adili Idola Celebrity Roast: Reza Oktovian".

Among these new releases, the series "East of Eden" deserves a special place. Its complex storytelling and deep social themes offer viewers an emotional journey through time.

It is important to note that available titles may vary depending on your home country, which further enriches the streaming experience on Netflix.
