PSG-OL match rescheduled for the day after the Ballon d'Or ceremony
The Professional Football League has officially announced the postponement of the match between Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Olympique Lyonnais (OL), which was originally scheduled for Sunday, October 26. The game is now set for Monday, October 27 at 8:30 PM, coinciding with the Ballon d'Or ceremony to be held at the London Palladium.
The decision to postpone the match was made by the Paris Prefecture of Police due to new demonstrations expected on Sunday. Law enforcement was unable to ensure the safety of the game under these exceptional circumstances, as a NFL game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints will also take place at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis that same afternoon.
New Date
The LFP confirmed that the PSG-OL match is rescheduled for Monday, October 27 at 8:30 PM, in agreement with the sole broadcaster of the league, Ligue 1+.
