Manchester United pulled off a dramatic comeback against Roma on Tuesday night at Old Trafford, winning the match three goals to two after trailing in the score. The Red Devils claimed their first win of the Champions League season and put an end to a nine-match winless streak.

The encounter started poorly for Manchester United with two quick goals scored by Matias Soulé (11th) and Donyell Malen (17th). The Mancunians then staged an impressive comeback. Bruno Fernandes, from the penalty spot, narrowed the gap to 2-1 in the second period before Matheus Cunha found the back of the net to equalize and secure the victory (83rd and 86th).

Roma remain on four points in their group standings while Manchester United, despite their victory, are not yet qualified for the round of sixteen.
