Security forces advance in Kenscoff

According to Juno7, security forces are now consolidating these zones following a series of violent confrontations. The recent offensive has allowed the effective recapture of several strategic positions within the commune.

Residents are calling on authorities to maintain a permanent security presence to prevent the return of armed groups. "The population wants the recovered spaces to remain under the control of security forces," said an unidentified community member, quoted by Vant Bèf Info.

In Viard and Bois-d'Avril, several residents expressed a desire for regular presence of the FAd’H (Haitian Armed Forces) to reassure families who are considering returning to their homes.

The Task Force continues its efforts on the ground to stabilize the situation and prevent any return of insecurity in these recently liberated zones.
