RC Lens suffered a crushing 1-9 defeat against Como in the Champions League on Wednesday. Yannick Cahuzac, the Artois club's manager, spoke about the difficulties encountered and the uncertainty surrounding Franjo Ivanovic, who suffered a head injury during the match.
Lens will face Olympique de Marseille (OM) at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis next Sunday. Bruno Genesio, the Phocéens' manager, stated in a press conference that he expects a fierce and committed reaction from the start of the match against a wounded opponent.
Cahuzac has not ruled out Franjo Ivanovic's absence for this match. He also confirmed that four players would still be unavailable: Odsonne Édouard, Ismaëlo Ganiou, Abdallah Sima, and Maik Nawrocki.
After acknowledging his tactical errors during the match against Como, Cahuzac stated that he will not impose any disciplinary sanctions on his team before the next match against OM. He emphasized that the goal is to regain the confidence and solidity needed for this important league fixture.
