The government of Haiti has announced a series of measures to combat the rise of insecurity in the country. In a press release published on Saturday, February 8, 2025, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, who is also the head of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN), reaffirmed his total commitment to eliminating criminals without compromise. An emergency meeting of the CSPN was held that day to coordinate a massive mobilization of state forces.
