A possible return for several political figures

According to the online media outlet Haiti24, this regulatory revision opens up the possibility of a return to the electoral competition for individuals targeted by international measures in recent years. Former presidents Michel Martelly and Jocelerme Privert are among the citizens likely to benefit from this modification.

Former Prime Minister Jean-Henry Céant as well as Gary Bodeau, who led the Chamber of Deputies, also find themselves in a position to seek a mandate again thanks to this adjustment of the rules.
