Lamine Yamal declares Lionel Messi the best player of the 2026 World Cup
Lamine Yamal, the star striker of FC Barcelona and a lifelong admirer of Lionel Messi, said on Friday that Messi was the best player in the last World Cup. In an interview with Movistar, Yamal, who is 19 years old, paid tribute to the Argentine footballer who stood out in the tournament despite his advanced age of 39.
