The DRC is attracting more and more European dual nationals

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is attracting many players with dual nationality who play for European national teams, according to Foot Mercato. Jorthy Mokio, an offensive midfielder for Ajax Amsterdam, has chosen the DRC despite a rule requiring him to wait three years before he can play officially for them. Sébastien Desabre, the coach of the DRC, says this trend is not coincidental and aims to strengthen their squad.
