The Charges Dropped in Court

Following the preliminary hearing held before the local judicial body, the court rejected the accusations against the thirty-year-old. According to Telemundo Puerto Rico, the charges were related to domestic violence legislation, specifically listed under Law 54 on Prevention and Intervention in Domestic Violence. The same media outlet reported that after his arrest, Baeza Visaldán was taken to the Institution Penal 705 at the Bayamón Correctional Complex due to his inability to post bail.

Defense Welcomes Client's Exoneration

The administrator's lawyers, José Andréu Fuentes and Alfredo Umpierre Soler, emphasized their client's innocence regarding the now-dismissed allegations. In a statement cited by Metro Puerto Rico, the defense said: "We were able to demonstrate that the accusations against Mr. Baeza Visaldán were not true. As a result of the San Juan Court's decision, he was ordered released immediately after being arrested on September 22, 2026."

For his part, Alfredo Umpierre Soler stated, as reported by Noticel: "We trust that our client can resume his professional duties following his exoneration from these false allegations that threaten his integrity." The order issued allows the sports franchise representative to immediately resume his regular activities in Puerto Rico.
