According to RCI Guadeloupe, the areas particularly affected will be Basse-Terre, the Pointe region, and the Grands-Fonds. Caution is advised due to possible heavy rainfall accumulations. The wind will weaken to between 15 and 20 km/h with gusts under showers.
The situation should improve in the evening, with a gradual return to milder conditions on Wednesday and a sunny day on Thursday.
Martinique: end of yellow alert
On Wednesday, October 7, Martinique moves to green alert level after the passage of tropical wave number 47. Météo-France forecasts light showers passing through today and during the following night.
Rainfall Data
Over the last twelve hours, 16 mm was recorded in two hours at Morne-Rouge and up to more than 70 mm around Ajoupa-Bouillon. Martinique received an average rainfall deficit of 50% for the month of September.
