Events announced in the regions
The schedule includes conferences in schools and at the headquarters of the Akademi Kreyòl Ayisyen, literary debates, symposia, and interviews, according to the same source. Exhibitions of scientific works, discussions with authors, book sales, and a tribute to Minister Bernard are also on the program. These gatherings will extend to universities and public schools in the South and in Jeremi.
The value attributed to the national language
During an appearance on the show IMPASSE on October 8 in Pòtoprens, academician Marie Rodny Laurent declared that Lang lan se richès yon peyi. She maintains that this language must be used for sharing knowledge and for research. For his part, Illéus Papillon insisted on the importance of creating content, stating: "Si pa gen pwodiksyon nan lang nan, si lang nan pa pale, li riske disparèt."
