Twelve years ago, on 6 November 2014, actor Pierre-Louis Dieufaite was murdered in Port-au-Prince, where he was born on 13 October 1983.
One film, an award-winning work
Born Jude Dieuly Pierre-Louis and known as "Jude" to his friends, he first came to notice with a supporting role in Love Me Haiti, an award-winning film. It was the only film of his career.
A violent death
He was killed along with his best friend, Frédely Desrosiers, a nephew of Garry Desrosiers, a chief inspector with the PNH. He was among the many victims of gangs and thieves in November 2014.
