Kylian Mbappé reportedly responds to José Mourinho with a video of himself on a bike

A song with ambiguous lyrics

To accompany his countryside outing, the player chose the song "Les gentils, les Méchants" by Michel Fugain and Big Bazar as background music. RMC Sport reports that this musical choice is seen by some observers as a reaction to the recent controversies surrounding the footballer.

A link to the coach's comments

According to Foot Mercato, the media frenzy stems from a connection made to statements José Mourinho made about ten days earlier. The coach had spoken on the 'Bet It Drives’ podcast about professional footballers riding bicycles. This timing has led the Madrid press to see the number 10's gesture as a direct response to his coach's comments.

A tense context

This new incident adds to other criticisms aimed at the Real Madrid player. Foot Mercato reports that his absence from the French national team gathering, officially due to a knee problem, had already raised doubts. The fans' anger then intensified after the forward was seen at a nightclub in Paris with Ester Exposito.
