KSPS calls for mobilization for its final blood drive

For the weekend of September 25, 2026, two collection events are planned: one at BANJ (Delmas) on Saturday, September 26, and the other at Cap-Haïtien the following day. In Delmas, volunteers can present themselves from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., while those in Cap-Haïtien are invited to Lorvincia Clinic starting at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

According to Saint Louis, these initiatives specifically aim to help pregnant women, sick children, and accident victims. The blood collected can also save the lives of people facing other situations requiring blood transfusions.

From October 2025 to June 2026, KSPS organized seven collections in different regions of the country. In total, the organization collected 350 units of blood and a significant number of donation intentions. Among the volunteers who participated in activities organized in Port-au-Prince, Limonade, and Cap-Haïtien as well as at Notre-Dame S.A. Hospital, only 350 were declared eligible to donate.
