Accessible on the web and via mobile applications, Kimetyew is a platform that connects individuals with service providers and vocational training centers. Users can search for a plumber in their municipality or find training in mechanics, for example. The platform also offers the ability to browse profiles by trade and by municipality, as well as to send a service request.
On the kimetyew.com website and the App Store and Google Play, professionals can create a profile to showcase their skills, services, and area of operation. According to Kimetyew, opening such a profile requires a Haitian phone number with the +509 country code.
Vocational schools and training centers also have the ability to create profiles to present their programs. Interested individuals can then contact these institutions directly to obtain more information on fees, course duration, registration requirements, as well as certificates or diplomas issued.
Kimetyew emphasizes that it does not perform the work itself nor does it provide guarantees for the registered professionals. Once contact is established between the client and the provider, they agree directly on the price, deadlines, and terms of service execution.
