Julien Kreuze exchanges with Haitian journalists in Tabarre

The participants discussed various topics related to the functioning and current challenges of journalism in Haiti. Among the speakers were Yves Paul Léandre, educational and cultural director at Haiti National Television (TNH), and Sheila Louis Joseph from Radio and Television Metropole.

The discussions covered themes such as elections in Haiti, the current migration situation, and U.S. policy concerning the country. Journalists also talked about Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and the Humanitarian Parole program, two important mechanisms in the Haitian context.

Julien Kreuze expressed his satisfaction with the quality of the reflections exchanged during this meeting. The participants also addressed concerns regarding the imbalanced relations between Haiti and the United States, particularly on a political, diplomatic, and judicial level.
