Jocelerme Privert officially registers as a candidate for president

Jocelerme Privert has filed his candidacy for the 2026 presidential elections under the Ayiti Transfòme coalition. According to Rezo Nòdwès, he was named provisional president in February 2016 by the National Assembly following a power vacuum. Ten years later, Privert wishes to obtain an elected mandate despite Canadian sanctions against him.
