The Institute of Social Well-Being and Research (IBESR) signed a two-year memorandum of understanding with Haiti Teen Challenge on Friday, October 2, 2026, aimed at supporting the social reintegration of young people from the Cermicol centers. The general director of IBESR, Arielle Jeanty Villedrouin, indicated that the lack of specialized structures remains a major challenge in this area. The program will include rehabilitation activities and preparation for social and economic integration for youth up to the age of 17.
