Haiti's young Grenadiers left the country on Tuesday, October 27, for a training camp in Brazil that will run until December 13, ahead of the U17 World Cup, which will take place from November 19 to December 13.
In a statement, the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) thanked the institutions and partners that helped organize the trip. The players will hold their last camp before the tournament, which will be played in Qatar.
2038 World Cup
The president of the French Football Federation (FFF), Philippe Diallo, confirmed in Ouest-France that France intends to host the World Cup in 2038. He said the country will have to team up with other nations to meet the new requirements that come with the growing number of participating teams.
Technical details
To host such an event, at least sixteen large stadiums would be needed. France currently has six that measure up (Stade de France, Vélodrome, Parc OL, Pierre-Mauroy, Parc des Princes and Stade Atlantique). In Belgium, only Club Bruges' future stadium will be ready by 2029.
