Haiti beat Trinidad and Tobago 3-2 in David Badia's first official game as Grenadiers coach, played on Thursday, September 24 at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. The match was part of the group stage of the Concacaf Nations League.

The Grenadiers took the lead in the first half through Fabrice Picault (23rd minute), who scored off a pass from Wilson Isidor. However, Wayne Frederik equalized for Trinidad and Tobago eight minutes later (31st minute). At halftime, both teams were tied 1-1.
In the second half, Levi Garcia allowed the Soca Warriors to take the lead by scoring the 2-1 goal. Haiti had to wait until the end of the match to turn things around: Garven-Michée Metusala (90th +1) and Wilson Isidor (90th +6) scored the final two goals, securing a 3-2 victory.
David Badia made three substitutions with two minutes left: Jean Ricner Bellegarde replaced Carl Fred Sainté; Kenny Quétant came on for Dany Jean, and Yassin Fortuné substituted Fabrice Picault. Denzil Smith, the Soca Warriors goalkeeper, was replaced by Jabari Brice after an injury.
Haiti will play its second match in this Nations League against Costa Rica on September 27.
