Jamaïque : gunmen kill chef in Cedar Grove as Manchester homicides rise

A man known by the alias "Duwi" was fatally shot on Wednesday night in the Cedar Grove district, located near Mandeville. According to the Jamaica Observer, the victim was a resident of the area who had recently started working as a chef and formerly raised pigs.

The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. when people living in the community reported hearing loud explosions. The Jamaica Observer reports that when the police were alerted and arrived at the scene, they discovered the man slumped in his bed. His body showed what appeared to be wounds from gunshots.
