Granit Xhaka fined and suspended
Granit Xhaka, the Swiss midfielder playing for Sunderland, announced on social media that he had been fined 160,000 euros and given a two-year suspended sentence. He had faced up to five years in prison for using fake Covid certificates in 2022.
