France faces Belgium for a place in the quarter-finals

According to Foot Mercato, Zinedine Zidane is expected to field a novel 4-3-3 lineup with Mike Maignan in goal. The defense would feature Jules Koundé and Adrien Truffert on the flanks, with a central partnership formed by Lacroix-Jacquet, in the absence of the suspended Dayot Upamecano. The midfield could be manned by a Koné-Camavinga-Cherki trio, while Bradley Barcola and Esteban Lepaul would partner with Michael Olise in attack.

Meanwhile, Mark Van Bommel has to cope with the absences of Youri Tielemans and Kevin De Bruyne. He could field a defense featuring Joaquin Seys, Brandon Mechele, Nathan Ngoy and Timothy Castagne. In midfield, a double pivot made up of Raskin and Lavia would be paired with Leandro Trossard in a more advanced role. Dodi Lukebakio, Charles De Ketelaere and Mika Godts could make up the Belgian attacking line.
