Encanto Restaurants filed for bankruptcy last Friday, according to Telemundo Puerto Rico.

The campus board of trustees voted on Friday to express its lack of confidence in the central administration's ability to effectively manage the sexual assault crisis on campus. The vote, which passed with 75 in favor and 50 against, with five abstentions and five non-voters, did not recommend any removals or propose concrete solutions to manage the controversy.

Board of Trustees Chair Anne Meinig Smalling stated that the board continues to have confidence in President Michael Kotlikoff and his administration. She highlighted recent measures taken by the university, such as hiring additional staff for the civil rights division and expanding the sexual assault prevention education program.

The resolution's sponsors stated that their decision was a call for real systemic change rather than a gradual or ineffective approach to managing the issues. Attorney Thomas Giuffra, who represents Jane Doe, said he hopes this measure will be important in educating and supporting the Cornell community in addressing the persistent problem of sexual assault on campus.
